November Favourites!

Hey Ladies!

Without trying to bring out the product junkie in you, I thought it would be nice to show you some of the products (others than hair stuff) I used in the last month & absolutely love!

Face:

Last month I started using some products from the SkinCeuticals range and I’m in love! I have crazy oily skin and finding the perfect set of products to cater to this has been hard. Things I’ve used in the past have either caused me to break out or has dried my skin out (which eventually leads to it over producing oil!)

The Daily Moisturiser for normal to oily skin is a touch of heaven to my skin every morning! I only need a small amount and I’m good to go (as you can see its still pretty full). It works well underneath my makeup and is something I can definitely see myself repurchasing when it’s finished.

The Gel Cleanser helps to remove impurities, excess oils and makeup and is designed especially for combination to oily skin. I have to say when first used this I was pretty confused as the consistency of this product is pretty thin & runny in comparison to the usual facial washes, so that took some time getting use to. However I’ve definitely seen an improvement since using both this and the moisturiser.

NARS Sheer Matte Foundation! My all time, hands down, no doubt about it, favourite foundation. I recently ran out and switched to using my MAC matchmaster and my skin hated me for it. In a nutshell I love this foundation because:

*It’s the perfect match for my skin tone

*Doesn’t make my face oily

*Doesn’t break me out

*Doesn’t make my skin feel caked up

*Lasts a long time on your face

*Lasts a loooong time generally -I only need to repurchase every approx every 6 months (sometimes longer)

Eyes:

For anyone that knows me well, you know I can go without foundation, eyeliner, lipgloss, blusher but MUST have mascara! lol!

My eyelashes are quite long, so I do love a mascara that can help me accentuate them without them looking clumped up or like spider legs.

Since 2008 I’ve been faithfully using the L’Oreal Volume lashes mascara as it works sooo well for me but I recently misplaced it. Me freaking out, I had to buy another straightaway! Sadly my trustee mascara was all out so I opted for L’Oreal’s Telescopic mascara. Let’s just say if the Volume lashes mascara doesn’t show up, it’s definitely getting replaced!

Lips:

My favourite and go-to lip products for the past 3/4 months have been Avon’s colour trend in ‘Caramel Apple’ and ELF’s lipstick in Fantasy.

Hair:

Ok I had to sneak a hair product in! Lee Stafford’s Detangling Spray

Body:

I’m big on a great smelling product so the Victoria’s Secret store is like a candy shop to me! I’ve had the ‘Pure Seduction’   Ultra-Softening Body Butter for a while now but recently started using it again. The smell is soooo nice, very sweet, exotic and smells much more expensive than it actually is! I really like this because it’s a great body butter and the smell lasts such a long time too.

    Thanks Pelumi
I hadn’t heard of Skinceuticals and it really looks like these could be just what my oily skin might need. Will have to try them.
Also never tried the NARS foundation and others have recommended it too. LOL I only started wearing makeup properly 6 months ago and this looks like a real find.
    Gotta cover up the wrinkles.
    Thanks for the suggestions!
    ;-)
