The weekends are always my time to kick back, relax and deep condition! I try my best to deep condition once every week, alternating between a deep conditioner targeted at moisturising my hair and a deep conditioner that will provide protein to my hair.
For moisture I like:
*TRESemme Naturals – Nourishing moisture conditioner
*As I am’s – Hydration Elation Intensive conditioner
*Curls - Coconut sublime conditioner
For protein I like:
*Parnevu – Hair Mayonnaise
Now my conditioning routine has been bumped up like 10 notches! I haven’t got a hooded dryer at home nor the space to even accommodate one. So when I was offered to review the Hair Therapy Wrap, I was super excited.
“The Hair Therapy Wrap is a cordless thermal turban heat wrap that helps repair damaged hair.”
Now I’m sure we all know damaged hair cannot be repaired (once damaged, it’s damaged) but this does work as a great way to increase the efficacy of your hair treatments.
I’m use to deep conditioning, covering my hair in a plastic cap/cling film and getting on with things around the house, so I love that this wrap is cord-free.
This hair wrap comes with gel heat packs, the wrap (insulation for maximized product penetration) and 3 plastic caps .
You literally apply your conditioner/hot oil treatment to your hair, cover it with the plastic cap and microwave the Hair Wrap (with the gel packs inside) for 60 seconds (with intervals) and you’re good to go!
“Oil and reconstructive treatments are activated by the warmth to do their work, as the hair follicle of each strand is relaxed and open for diffusion”
The Hair Therapy Wrap stays hot for up to 30 minutes, is easy to use & is reusable. This product has cut my deep conditioning time in half because the heat allows the conditioner to do its work much faster and efficiently.
The only con I have for this wrap is you have to be very very careful when using them in the microwave as the gel packs can be easily overheat and burst. However I give this a overall rating of 9/10!!!
For anyone that would like to purchase one head on over to Gidore (p.s. their packaging is sooo cute right? *see above*)
Have any of you used this already? What did you think?
